Directional drilling software on your phone.

It works live with SharpShooter Gold on your own computer: surveys, slides and projections use the computer's calculations and save straight into its job database. SharpShooter Gold has to be running on that computer.

Live anti-collision on the phone

See the nearest well from the rig floor.

The five closest offset wells, drawn on the 3D, plan and vertical charts over the satellite picture of your pad.
A red line from your latest survey to the closest point on the nearest offset, labelled with its name, the centre-to-centre distance and the separation factor.
Next line - or the phone's volume keys - steps the red line through the five, then to the plan with your distance to plan.
The Live AC tab lists every offset: centre distance, separation factor, ellipse gap and warning.
The numbers are the rig computer's: the same anti-collision engine, survey-tool error models and separation rule as SharpShooter Gold, worked out there and sent to the phone. How the anti-collision works.

Once it is installed: open, scan, done.

Google Play installs the app and keeps it up to date. Using the app file instead (download it here)? Open it and tap Install; if Android asks, allow your browser to install apps.

Open SharpShooter Gold on the phone.
On the computer open Server → Phone slide sheet. The window shows the sign-in code.
On the phone tap Scan the sign-in code and point it at the computer screen. That is all - the phone stays signed in from then on.

Typing instead: the computer's link code SSG-XXXX-XXXX or its Wi-Fi address, then a phone user created on the computer. The phone remembers every address that has worked and tries them in order: the rig Wi-Fi first, then SharpShooter Link from anywhere.

How to get it

Download: open sharpshootergold.com/app on the phone, fill in your details and the app file downloads straight away. Open it and tap Install. To update, download it again and install over the top.
Already running SharpShooter Gold? The app is inside your Field package, and on the computer under Server → Phone slide sheet - it installs over the rig Wi-Fi with no internet.

Same Wi-Fi as the computer, or any internet connection when SharpShooter Link is on for that computer
